Registered Behavior Technician--Apollo Beach/Ruskin

St Pete ABA is a community-based ABA provider serving children and adults across Pinellas and Hillsborough counties. We deliver services in schools, group homes, adult day programs, and family homes. We've structured the role to minimize administrative friction so RBTs can focus on what they were trained to do — working directly with clients.

• Consistent, year-round hours — the majority of our clients reside in staffed residential homes. Your hours don't disappear over summer break or holidays, and seeing multiple clients at the same location keeps your schedule efficient.
• Flexible scheduling — morning, evening, and weekend shifts are available. We work with you to build a schedule that fits your life; evenings and weekends are an option if that works better for your schedule, but not required.
• Strong clinical backing — you'll be supervised by BCBAs who are present, accessible, and invested in your development. With 10+ BCBAs and BCBA-Ds on staff, you'll have support on complex cases rather than being left to figure it out alone
• USF BCBA practicum site — we offer supervision at no cost for RBTs earning hours toward their BCBA, with plenty of unrestricted activities that can be completed during your shift. If you are in a BCBA grad program, this position offers unique experience that looks great on a resume!
• Streamlined documentation — systems and templates are already in place so session notes don't consume your time between clients

• Scheduling and billing handled — back-office logistics are managed by our administrative team, not passed down to clinical staff.

What You'll Do

• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) as developed and directed by your supervising BCBA
• Collect accurate session data and maintain organized records
• Work directly with clients across community settings — schools, group homes, adult day programs, and family homes
• Communicate regularly with your supervising BCBA on client progress and concerns
• Participate in ongoing training and supervision

Services are delivered in the community across:

• Schools (ESE classrooms and inclusion settings)
• Group homes (children's and adult residential)
• Adult day programs
• Family homes

A reliable vehicle and valid FL driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Current RBT certification in good standing, or willingness to obtain prior to start
• Valid Medicaid Provider ID (preferred)
• Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities preferred
• Must be able to pass a Level 2 background check
• Comfortable working across age ranges — children through adults
• Reliable transportation and valid FL driver's license
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently in community settings

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
