Registered Behavior Technician

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic team committed to transforming lives through behavioral health and applied behavior analysis (ABA). As an RBT, you will work directly with children and individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder, to implement personalized behavior intervention plans. You will collaborate closely with supervising behavior analysts and care teams to deliver consistent, ethical, and effective behavioral therapy that promotes independence and enhances quality of life.

Duties

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on ABA principles under the supervision of licensed behavior analysts
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and hygiene routines
• Collect and record accurate behavioral data during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments
• Support clients in developing communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors through engaging teaching strategies
• Maintain detailed medical records, care plans, and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and professional standards
• Communicate regularly with clients’ families and care teams to update progress, address concerns, and reinforce therapy goals
• Support behavioral health initiatives by managing behaviors effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques

Requirements

• Valid Registered Behavior Technician certification or willingness to obtain certification within specified timeframe
• Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorders or neurodevelopmental disorders
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management strategies, and data collection methods
• Ability to assist with ADLs and implement behavior intervention protocols consistently
• Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and confidentiality standards such as HIPAA
• Prior experience in home-based behavioral therapy or school settings is highly desirable
• Strong communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and family support
• Demonstrated professionalism in adhering to the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 40.0 per week
