Duties

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, and hygiene to promote independence and self-care skills
• Collect detailed behavioral data during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment plans
• Implement individualized ABA (Applied Behavioral Analysis) therapy protocols designed by supervising BCBAs to target specific skill deficits and reduce challenging behaviors
• Support clients in developing communication, social, academic, and life skills through structured teaching methods
• Maintain accurate medical documentation, client records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations and professional standards
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, teachers, and other team members to ensure consistency across environments and reinforce behavior management strategies
• Adhere to ethical guidelines outlined in the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts while delivering direct behavioral therapy

Skills

• Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, especially those on the autism spectrum or with neurodevelopmental disorders
• Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis principles and behavior management techniques
• Ability to assist with ADLs and support clients in achieving independence in daily routines
• Proficiency in data collection methods related to behavioral health and medical documentation practices
• Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards
• Previous home-based behavioral experience or school experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued
• Excellent client communication skills paired with a compassionate approach to care plans and client needs

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 38.0 per week
