Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic team committed to improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities. As an RBT, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Your role is vital in delivering personalized support, fostering skill development, and promoting positive behavior change in various settings, including home, school, and community environments. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference while gaining valuable experience in behavioral health and applied behavior analysis (ABA).

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, and feeding, to promote independence and self-care skills.
• Collect and record behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment plans.
• Implement individualized behavior management strategies and ABA therapy protocols as prescribed by supervising BCBAs.
• Support clients with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and other neurodevelopmental disorders through direct behavioral therapy tailored to their needs.
• Maintain detailed medical documentation, care plans, and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and professional standards.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, educators, and team members to ensure consistency across all environments.
• Adhere to the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts while delivering compassionate patient care.

Skills

• Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, especially those on the autism spectrum or with neurodevelopmental disorders.
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques for implementing therapy protocols.
• Strong data collection skills for tracking behavioral progress accurately during sessions.
• Ability to assist with ADLs and support clients in developing independence skills.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards.
• Home-based behavioral experience or school experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
• Excellent client communication skills combined with patience, empathy, and professionalism in all interactions.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
