Registered Behavior Technician

Overview
Southeastern Autism Center is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team and provide in-home ABA services. The RBT will work closely with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. This role is essential in providing support, fostering skill development, and enhancing the quality of life for our clients through effective behavioral therapy techniques.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress towards goals.
• Teach social skills and adaptive behaviors through structured activities.
• Implement behavior management strategies to address challenging behaviors.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Participate in training sessions and ongoing professional development to enhance skills in ABA.

Qualifications

• 1+ year working as a licensed RBT
• Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or developmental disabilities, in a home based setting.
• Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
• Ability to effectively collect data and analyze behavioral trends.
• Excellent communication skills for teaching and interacting with clients and families.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
• CPR Certification

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
