What they need

At Kareem’s Mission Autism Clinic, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed, and we are honored to be part of that journey. Our Registered Behavior Technicians implement ABA therapy using play-based, child-led strategies and positive reinforcement to help our children feel seen, valued, and supported. In a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) role, compassion plays a critical role in implementing personalized treatment plans to achieve measurable results. These positions offer a competitive base salary, small caseloads, and a focus on work-life balance.

Responsibilities

Our RBTs deliver high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder and related developmental differences. As an RBT, you will implement individualized treatment plans under the close, ongoing supervision of a BCBA, helping clients build communication, social, play, and daily living skills while reducing barriers to learning. We celebrate every milestone, partner closely with families, and see the able, not the label.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Completed 40-hour RBT training course from a BACB-approved provider.
  • Passed RBT Competency Assessment (or ability to do so in first 90-days).
  • Active RBT certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) (or ability to do so in first 90-days).
  • Current Criminal Background Check clearances (Act 33/34 and FBI).
  • Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
  • Physical ability to engage with active children (e.g., sitting on the floor, quick transitions, occasional lifting consistent with safe practices).

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6+ months supporting children/adolescents with autism or developmental disabilities.
  • Coursework in psychology, education, special education, ABA, or related field.
  • Experience with electronic data collection and electronic health records.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English highly valued).
  • CPR/First Aid certification.
  • Experience delivering services in home-based and community settings.
  • Interest in pursuing BCBA credentials.

This position offers an engaging opportunity for a passionate BCBA Specialist committed to making a positive impact through evidence-based practices in behavioral health.
