Responsibilities

• Deliver direct behavioral therapy sessions tailored to each client’s individualized care plan, focusing on skill development and behavior management.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), promoting independence and self-care routines.
• Collect and record detailed behavioral data during sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments.
• Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy protocols accurately and consistently, ensuring fidelity to established procedures.
• Support clients in various settings, including home-based environments and school settings, providing consistent care across contexts.
• Communicate effectively with clients’ families, caregivers, and team members to share progress updates and collaborate on strategies.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding medical records, documentation, and client confidentiality at all times.

Experience

• Prior experience working with children or individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to assist with ADLs, behavior management, and implementing behavior intervention plans.
• Familiarity with data collection methods related to behavioral health and medical documentation practices.
• Experience working in educational or home-based settings supporting individuals with disabilities or special needs.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and adherence to the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts is advantageous.
• Proven ability to work patiently and effectively with diverse populations in a compassionate manner while maintaining professional boundaries.

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 40.0 per week
