Join Blooming Buds ABA Services dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. We are located in Central Florida***(Lake County, Orange County, Osceola County In-home/In-School)*** As an RBT, you will deliver evidence-based behavioral interventions under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), helping clients develop essential skills and improve their quality of life. Duties

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to promote positive behaviors and skill development.
• Collect and record data meticulously during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and communication skills, supporting independence.
• Collaborate with team members to develop, review, and update personalized care plans aligned with each client’s needs.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by ensuring confidentiality and security of all medical records and documentation.
• Support clients in various settings such as homes, schools, or clinics, providing patient-centered care that respects individual preferences.
• Engage in ongoing training on behavior management techniques, medical terminology, and documentation standards to enhance professional skills.

Experience

• Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required; we provide comprehensive training for all new team members.
• Knowledge of behavioral therapy methods, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and behavior management strategies is highly valued.
• Strong communication skills and patience are essential for building trusting relationships with clients and their families.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and documentation practices ensures accurate reporting and compliance.
• A background in special education or teaching can be advantageous in delivering effective interventions.

Pay: $19.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 35.0 per week
