Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – Full-Time

Elevation Behavioral Science Services | Draper, Utah

Pay: $17–$22 per hour

A Job That Makes a Difference Every Day

Looking for work that matters? At Elevation Behavioral Science Services, we help children build skills, increase independence, and navigate the world in ways that work for them. We're looking for a reliable, enthusiastic Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in Draper.

This is a full-time opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children, values teamwork, and wants to grow in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Our team provides individualized support to each child, and you'll have guidance from a BCBA as you develop your skills.

Afternoon availability through 6:00 PM is important for this position, along with the flexibility to work a fuller schedule based on client needs.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll work directly with children to help them learn practical skills, build communication, and make progress toward their individualized goals.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing one-on-one ABA therapy based on each child's treatment plan
  • Teaching communication, social, play, and daily living skills
  • Using positive reinforcement and evidence-based teaching strategies
  • Supporting children in developing emotional and behavioral regulation skills
  • Collecting session data and completing documentation
  • Communicating with the supervising BCBA about progress and concerns
  • Maintaining a safe, welcoming, and engaging therapy environment
  • Participating in training, supervision, and team meetings
  • Following company policies, confidentiality requirements, and applicable professional standards

What We're Looking For

  • Current RBT certification or eligibility and willingness to obtain certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and current auto insurance
  • Ability to pass required background and fingerprint checks
  • Dependability and consistent attendance
  • Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
  • Comfort working in an active, play-based environment with children
  • Availability that supports client schedules, including afternoons through 6:00 PM

Experience in ABA, childcare, education, or working with children is a plus. We value a positive attitude, coachability, and a genuine desire to help children succeed.

Why Join Elevation?

We're a small, family-owned ABA practice, and we want to keep the things that make a small team special: personal support, open communication, and a shared commitment to quality care.

We're not interested in unnecessary workplace politics or egos. We want a team that works together, treats people with respect, and focuses on what matters most—the children and families we serve.

At Elevation, you'll have the opportunity to learn from experienced clinical staff, build your ABA skills, and be part of a team that values individualized care.

What We Offer

  • Pay of $17–$22 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
  • Paid training and onboarding
  • Ongoing BCBA supervision and support
  • Mileage reimbursement for travel between client locations
  • Professional development opportunities
  • A collaborative, supportive work environment
  • Opportunities for additional responsibilities and growth as your skills develop

Physical Requirements

This is an active position that may involve sitting on the floor, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, and participating in play-based activities. Team members must be able to use electronic devices for data collection and occasionally lift or assist with items weighing up to approximately 50 pounds when necessary.
