Registered Behavior Technician

Job Summary: Immediate hire for PART TIME REGISTERED BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN (RBT) in Carlsbad, $30-33 per hour, WEEKDAY HOURS 3:45-9P (Tues 2-9P). WEEKEND HOURS AVAILABLE FROM 9-5P. PLEASE READ COMPLETE DESCRIPTION AND REQUIRED HOURS BEFORE APPLYING.

• Seeking an exceptional RBT to care for an 18-year-old young man with Level 3 Autism, OCD, and medication-resistant epilepsy. He is mostly nonverbal but highly communicative in his own way.

This is not a traditional "sit and supervise" nursing position. Client is highly active and engaged throughout the day, and RBT has to enjoy being active and involved. The ideal candidate is comfortable participating in activities and spending time outdoors including hiking, going to the beach, etc.

Clinical Responsibilities

The Registered Behavior Technician will deliver one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) under the guidance of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). RBT will follow and implement individualized treatment plans, gather data, and report variables that may be affecting client.

Because consistency and trust are critical to client's success, we are seeking someone interested in a long-term position and able to commit to at least 20 hours per week and at least one weekend shift (Saturday and/or Sunday).

Pay: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour
