Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming, feeding, and hygiene to promote independence and self-care skills.
• Implement behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) for children with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities.
• Collect accurate data on behaviors, skill acquisition, and progress to inform treatment plans and ensure compliance with ethical standards.
• Support the development of care plans tailored to each individual’s needs, working closely with supervising behavior analysts and team members.
• Engage in teaching and behavioral therapy techniques designed to improve communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors.
• Maintain detailed medical documentation, medical records, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Work collaboratively with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to provide consistent support in home-based or clinical settings.

Requirements

• Valid certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, or neurodevelopmental disorders.
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management strategies, and autism spectrum disorder support techniques.
• Ability to assist with ADLs and implement behavioral interventions effectively in diverse settings.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical documentation practices, and HIPAA compliance.
• Prior experience in home-based behavioral therapy or working directly with children is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, patience, empathy, and a professional ethical approach aligned with the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts.

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
