Registered Behavior Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. The Behavior Technician will work with individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing behavior plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Responsibilities:

• Implement behavior intervention plans designed by the BCBA
• Collect data on observable client behavior
• Assist in the development of treatment and care plans
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and progress notes
• Collaborate with the BCBA to analyze data and modify treatment plans as needed
• Provide direct one-on-one therapy to clients
• Utilize applied behavior analysis techniques to teach new skills and reduce challenging behaviors

Qualifications:

• Experience in patient care, particularly working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism
• Familiarity with care plans, medical records, and medical documentation
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and behavior management techniques
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on outcomes
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder
• Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification
• Proficiency in using behavioral assessment tools

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 35.0 per week
