In this vital role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Please be mindful that schedule either be at 3:30–7:00 PM or 4:00–7:00 PM, session will be in our Lilburn clinic.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on ABA principles to promote skill development and reduce challenging behaviors.
• Collect accurate data on client progress, behaviors, and responses during therapy sessions to inform ongoing treatment plans.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, feeding, toileting, and dressing, to support independence.
• Support teaching strategies that enhance communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors tailored to each individual’s needs.
• Maintain detailed and confidential medical records, progress notes, and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to adjust interventions as needed and participate in supervision meetings for professional growth.
• Foster a positive, engaging environment that encourages learning and behavioral success through patience and encouragement.

Qualifications

• Prior experience or training in behavioral therapy, working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and data collection methods.
• Ability to assist clients with ADLs and support their participation in educational or therapeutic activities.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, documentation standards, and HIPAA compliance related to patient care.
• Excellent teaching skills with a compassionate approach to working with individuals with autism or other developmental challenges.
• Valid certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
• Patience, active listening skills, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Pay: Up to $28.00 per hour
