Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Job duties and requirements

• Duties: Implement behavior intervention and skill acquisition plans developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), collect and record client data, and maintain ethical standards.
• Requirements: Must have completed a 40-hour RBT training and have a current RBT certificate.

Work-Life Balance: Our center-based therapy schedule is Monday through Friday, with no nights or weekends.

As an RBT at The Spectrum Center for Autism, you can expect to:

• Provide One-on-One ABA Therapy: Work with children from 18 months to school age with a wide range of skills and strengths.
• Create an Engaging Session: Use play-based and naturalistic therapy techniques.
• Support Progress: Help children succeed in educational and social settings, preparing them for successful transitions and interactions.
• Document and Track Development: Contribute to each child’s therapy program by carefully documenting their progress.

Requirements:

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift/carry more than 50 lbs., run, crouch, squat, kneel for sustained periods, bend at the waist. Ability to move quickly from standing to seated or kneeling position without support.
• You will undergo a background check and drug test at the time of hire.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
