Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work directly with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities, implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role is essential in providing support to clients in achieving their personal goals through applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized care plans based on the principles of applied behavior analysis.
• Assist clients in developing social, communication, and daily living skills.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation of client progress.
• Educate clients and their families about behavioral therapy techniques and strategies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
• Monitor client behavior and adjust interventions as necessary to promote positive outcomes.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Experience

• Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Familiarity with special education practices and behavioral health concepts is advantageous.
• Previous experience in assisting with care plans and implementing behavioral therapy techniques is a plus.
• Knowledge of medical record keeping and documentation standards related to behavioral health services is beneficial.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
