Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic team committed to transforming lives through behavioral health and applied behavior analysis (ABA). As an RBT, you will work directly with children with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement individualized care plans that promote positive behavior change. Duties

• Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support clients’ developmental goals
• Collect and record data on client behaviors, progress, and response to interventions accurately and consistently
• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as grooming, feeding, toileting, and other self-care skills
• Support teaching sessions focused on communication, social skills, and behavioral management strategies tailored to each individual’s needs
• Maintain confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA regulations and ensuring all medical documentation and records are accurate and up-to-date
• Collaborate with team members to develop, review, and update personalized care plans that align with clients’ evolving needs
• Foster a positive, patient-centered environment that encourages growth, independence, and emotional well-being

Qualifications

• Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification prior to or shortly after employment
• FL Contractor Badge
• Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and data collection methods
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, and documentation standards in healthcare settings
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining professionalism and compassion
• Excellent communication skills tailored for working with diverse populations including children and their families
• Commitment to ongoing learning in behavioral health practices, special education strategies, and HIPAA compliance
• Bilingual: English and Spanish (A plus)

Work Environment:

• Ability to travel to service locations for in-person supervisions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must comply with company policies and procedures
• Must exhibit positive attitude and will to learn
• Must be able to perform a variety of physical activities including sitting/standing for long periods of time, walking, bending, and kneeling.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
