Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

We're opening an ABA center this fall! Thrive Speech Therapy is a pediatric private practice founded in 2018 by Jessica Sekhon, M.S., CCC-SLP. Since opening our doors, we have grown to 9 locations across the Houston area and have built a great reputation for providing compassionate, high-quality care to children and their families.

As we've continued to grow, many of the families we serve have expressed a need for both speech therapy and ABA services. To better support those families, we are excited to launch Thrive Therapeutics, a new ABA center opening in the Tomball area in Fall 2026!

While Thrive Therapeutics is new, you will be joining an established organization with experienced leadership, dedicated administrative and billing support, and a team that genuinely cares about its employees, clients, and families.

Position Overview

As an RBT, you will work directly with children under the supervision of a BCBA to implement individualized treatment plans, collect data, support skill development, and help create positive and meaningful learning experiences.

We are committed to providing our team with the training, resources, and support needed to feel confident and successful in their role.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy under the supervision of a BCBA
• Implement behavior intervention and skill acquisition programs as designed by the BCBA
• Collect accurate and timely session data
• Assist clients with communication, social, play, self-help, and daily living skills
• Maintain a positive, engaging, and supportive therapy environment
• Communicate professionally with families and team members
• Attend supervision meetings, trainings, and team meetings as required
• Complete documentation and session notes accurately and on time
• Follow all ethical, safety, and confidentiality requirements

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification required
• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 1+ years of RBT experience preferred
• Experience working with children preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, dependable, and organized
• Passion for helping children and families
• Ability to receive and implement feedback from supervisors

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
