At Learning Beyond the Spectrum, we believe children with autism and developmental disabilities deserve exceptional, compassionate care, and that starts with building an exceptional team.

We're looking for dependable, compassionate, and motivated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs with active certification) who want more than just a part-time job. Our families rely on consistency, and we're committed to creating a workplace where both our clients and our team can thrive.

If you're passionate about helping children, value collaboration, and want to continue growing professionally alongside a supportive clinical team, we'd love to meet you.

Why Learning Beyond the Spectrum?

From your very first day, you're part of the team.

We believe great clinicians aren't expected to figure everything out on their own. That's why we invest in ongoing mentorship, clinical collaboration, and professional development. You'll have opportunities to strengthen your skills, receive meaningful feedback, and work alongside a team that values your contributions.

The children we serve make their greatest progress through strong relationships and consistent care. We're looking for RBTs who take pride in their work, value the trust families place in them, and want to make a lasting impact.

What You'll Do

  • Provide individualized, one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism and developmental disabilities.
  • Implement behavior intervention plans and treatment goals developed by supervising BCBAs.
  • Support communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skill development.
  • Collect accurate session data and complete timely, objective clinical documentation.
  • Apply behavior intervention and skill acquisition strategies with consistency and fidelity.
  • Collaborate with supervising clinicians, families and fellow team members to support client progress.
  • Maintain a safe, engaging, and supportive environment across home, school, and community settings.
  • Participate in supervision, clinical feedback, and ongoing professional development.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

  • An actively certified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in good standing with the BACB.
  • Dependable, professional, and committed to providing consistent care.
  • Patient, energetic, creative, and comfortable being active throughout sessions.
  • Confident implementing behavior intervention plans while recognizing when to seek clinical guidance.
  • Receptive to feedback, motivated to improve, and committed to ethical, client-centered care.
  • Organized and able to maintain accurate documentation and session data.
  • Excited to collaborate with a clinical team and contribute to a positive workplace culture.

Priority consideration is given to applicants who:

  • Are available Monday through Friday afternoons.
  • Can consistently work 20–30 hours per week.
  • Are seeking a long-term, year-round + position.
  • Have flexibility to support clients across home, school, and community settings.
  • Are interested in continued growth within the field of ABA.

While we welcome RBTs at different stages of their careers, this position is best suited for someone looking to establish consistency, strengthen their clinical skills, and grow with our organization.

Growth at LBS

We're passionate about promoting from within and helping our team members build meaningful careers in ABA.

As an RBT at LBS, you'll have opportunities to develop your clinical skills, collaborate with experienced supervisors, and explore future leadership opportunities as you grow.

For team members pursuing further education or BCBA certification, support professional development and growth opportunities when available and applicable.

Requirements

  • Active RBT certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience providing ABA services preferred.
  • Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities preferred.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to travel between home, school, and community-based sessions as needed.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to implement behavior intervention strategies under clinical supervision.
  • Ability to remain physically engaged throughout sessions and lift up to 50 pounds when required by the role.
  • Commitment to professional ethics, client confidentiality, and consistent attendance.

Benefits

  • Flexible scheduling within business needs
  • Ongoing clinical mentorship and professional development
  • Opportunities for leadership and career advancement
  • A collaborative, supportive team that genuinely enjoys working together
