Header: Duties

• Implement evidence-based ABA therapy protocols tailored to each client’s care plan, focusing on skill acquisition and behavior management
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), promoting independence and self-care skills in various settings, including home and school environments
• Collect, record, and analyze behavioral data accurately to monitor progress and inform ongoing treatment adjustments
• Support clients during direct behavioral therapy sessions, utilizing positive reinforcement techniques to encourage desired behaviors
• Collaborate with supervising behavior analysts, teachers, caregivers, and families to ensure consistency across all environments
• Maintain confidentiality of client information in accordance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards
• Participate in training sessions on ethical practices, medical terminology, and implementing ABA therapy protocols to enhance your professional growth

Header: Skills

• Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis principles and experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) or neurodevelopmental disorders
• Proven ability to assist with ADLs and support clients in developing independence skills
• Excellent data collection skills for behavioral tracking and progress monitoring
• Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities in educational or home-based settings
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance, medical records management, and medical terminology related to behavioral health
• Effective communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and family engagement
• Ability to implement behavior management strategies ethically and professionally while maintaining a positive attitude
