Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) / Behavior Technician
Full Spectrum ABA Therapy | Attica, Indiana
About Full Spectrum
At Full Spectrum ABA Therapy, we believe that effective therapy starts with understanding and respecting the individual. We provide individualized, trauma-informed ABA therapy to children and adolescents with autism, with an emphasis on emotional well-being, meaningful skill development, and helping each client thrive as their authentic self.
Our approach to ABA goes beyond traditional behavioral interventions. We prioritize compassionate, assent-based care, meaningful relationships, and creating therapy experiences that are engaging, supportive, and individualized to each child's needs.
We also recognize the importance of collaboration. Our team works alongside other professionals, including speech, music, and occupational therapists, to provide a more holistic approach to treatment.
We're looking for compassionate, motivated individuals to join our Fountain County team as Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). Whether you're an experienced RBT or someone interested in beginning a career in behavior analysis, we provide the training, supervision, and support needed to succeed in the role.
What You'll Do
As an RBT at Full Spectrum, you'll work directly with children with autism to help them develop meaningful skills, build independence, and achieve individualized goals. You'll work closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and other team members to provide high-quality, individualized care.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide individualized, one-on-one ABA therapy in clinic, home, school, or community settings as assigned.
- Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention plans developed by supervising Behavior Analysts.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with clients through engaging, play-based, and developmentally appropriate interactions.
- Use compassionate, trauma-informed, and assent-based approaches to support client learning and emotional well-being.
- Collect accurate treatment data and document client progress.
- Collaborate with BCBAs, fellow RBTs, and other members of the clinical team.
- Participate in team meetings, ongoing training, and clinical supervision.
- Maintain accurate and timely session documentation.
- Respond positively to feedback and actively participate in professional growth.
- Contribute to a supportive, collaborative, and respectful team environment.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for individuals who genuinely enjoy working with children, value compassionate care, and want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the individuals and families we serve.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in psychology, education, behavior analysis, or a related field preferred.
- Current RBT certification preferred, but not required. Training and certification support are provided.
- Previous experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Willingness to learn and implement individualized ABA treatment procedures.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to accept feedback and adapt to individual client needs.
- Ability to complete required pre-employment background and registry checks.
- Ability to work supportively and collaboratively with a team
- Reliable transportation
