Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – Full-Time

Elevation Behavioral Science Services | Salt Lake Valley, Utah

Pay: $17–$25 per hour

Build Your Career While Making a Difference

Are you looking for a rewarding career where you can help children develop meaningful skills and reach their potential? Elevation Behavioral Science Services is looking for a dependable, compassionate, and motivated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team and provide individualized ABA therapy to children throughout the Salt Lake Valley.

At Elevation, we believe in creating a supportive environment where our team members can grow professionally while making a positive impact on the families we serve.

We're looking for someone who can offer consistent afternoon availability, with the ability to work through 6:00 PM. This is a full-time position, with schedules built around client needs and your availability.

Schedule & Availability

  • Full-time, weekday position
  • Schedule may include a combination of daytime and afternoon sessions
  • Must have consistent availability through 6:00 PM on scheduled weekdays
  • Start and end times may vary depending on client schedules
  • Additional hours may be available as client needs change

What You'll Do

As an RBT, you'll work directly with children receiving Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, helping them develop communication, social, play, and daily living skills. You'll receive ongoing guidance from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing individualized, one-on-one ABA therapy
  • Implementing treatment plans developed by the supervising BCBA
  • Teaching communication, social interaction, play, and independence skills
  • Using positive reinforcement and evidence-based teaching strategies
  • Supporting children as they learn new skills and navigate challenging situations
  • Collecting session data and completing documentation accurately
  • Communicating with your BCBA and collaborating with other team members
  • Maintaining a safe, engaging, and respectful environment
  • Participating in training, supervision, and team meetings

What We're Looking For

  • Current RBT certification or eligibility and willingness to obtain certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and current auto insurance
  • Ability to complete required background and fingerprint checks
  • Consistent weekday availability, including afternoons through 6:00 PM
  • Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
  • Dependability, patience, and a genuine interest in working with children

Experience in ABA, childcare, education, or a related field is helpful, but not always required.

Why Elevation?

Elevation is a small, family-owned ABA provider focused on individualized care and meaningful relationships. We're not trying to become a massive corporation. We want to build a team where people feel supported, communicate openly, and work together to help children succeed.

Our culture is built around integrity, communication, accountability, and teamwork. We value people who are willing to learn, support one another, and bring a positive attitude to their work.

What We Offer

  • Competitive pay of $17–$25 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
  • Paid training and onboarding
  • Ongoing BCBA supervision and clinical support
  • Mileage reimbursement when traveling between client locations
  • Professional development opportunities
  • Opportunities to build a long-term career in behavioral health
  • A supportive, collaborative team environment

Physical Requirements

This is an active position working directly with children. Team members should be comfortable sitting on the floor, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, and participating in play-based activities. The role also requires using electronic devices for data collection and occasionally lifting or assisting with items weighing up to approximately 50 pounds when necessary.
