About Adora Bright

At Adora Bright Child & Youth Development Centre, we believe in supporting the whole child through individualized, evidence-based, and collaborative care.

Our multidisciplinary team provides Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), Speech-Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Executive Functioning, Emotional Regulation, Social Communication, and Independence Development services to children, youth, and adolescents with diverse developmental and behavioural needs.

Our approach emphasizes meaningful outcomes, clinical excellence, family involvement, and collaboration across disciplines.

Whole Child. Whole Team. One Bright Future.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated, experienced, and collaborative Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA) / Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) to join our growing clinical team.

The successful candidate will provide clinical oversight, conduct assessments, develop individualized intervention plans, supervise behaviour therapists, and collaborate with families and multidisciplinary professionals to support meaningful client outcomes.

This position offers opportunities to work with children and adolescents across a range of developmental profiles, including autism spectrum disorder, executive functioning challenges, emotional and behavioural regulation difficulties, social communication needs, and adaptive functioning.

We are looking for a clinician who demonstrates strong clinical judgment, takes initiative, values direct involvement in treatment, and enjoys mentoring and developing clinical teams.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Assessment & Treatment Planning

  • Conduct comprehensive behavioural assessments, including functional behaviour assessments, skill-based assessments, and direct observations.
  • Develop individualized, evidence-based intervention plans aligned with client strengths, needs, and family priorities.
  • Establish measurable treatment goals and monitor progress through ongoing data collection and clinical evaluation.
  • Develop and oversee behaviour support plans emphasizing proactive, compassionate, assent-informed, and least-restrictive approaches.
  • Regularly review and modify treatment programs based on client progress and clinical outcomes.

Clinical Supervision & Staff Development

  • Provide ongoing clinical supervision and guidance to Behaviour Therapists and other team members.
  • Conduct direct observations, treatment integrity assessments, and competency evaluations.
  • Deliver Behavioural Skills Training (BST), including instruction, modelling, rehearsal, and performance feedback.
  • Support staff in implementing individualized teaching strategies, prompting procedures, reinforcement systems, and behaviour support plans.
  • Promote consistent implementation of clinical programs across therapists and service settings.

Direct Clinical Involvement

  • Maintain an active presence during clinical sessions to observe implementation, model strategies, and provide immediate feedback.
  • Support therapists in responding to complex clinical presentations and behavioural challenges.
  • Participate in collaborative problem-solving and treatment adjustments.
  • Ensure intervention strategies are practical, individualized, and consistently implemented.

Family Collaboration & Caregiver Coaching

  • Establish positive, professional relationships with clients and families.
  • Conduct parent consultations, progress meetings, and caregiver training.
  • Support generalization of skills across home, school, and community environments.
  • Collaborate with families to identify meaningful priorities and develop achievable intervention goals.

Multidisciplinary Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Communicative Disorders Assistants, and other clinical professionals.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary case discussions, joint observations, and collaborative treatment planning.
  • Support integration of communication, emotional regulation, executive functioning, social development, and independence goals into ABA programming.
  • Contribute to a coordinated approach to client care across disciplines.

Clinical Documentation & Professional Standards

  • Maintain accurate and timely assessments, treatment plans, progress reports, supervision records, and clinical documentation.
  • Ensure clinical services align with the standards and expectations of the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO).
  • Monitor treatment effectiveness, clinical quality, and ethical service delivery.
  • Participate in clinical quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

Required

  • Master's degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis, Psychology, Behaviour Science, or a related field.
  • Current registration as a Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA) with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO), with authorization to practise independently.
  • BCBA certification is considered an asset.
  • Experience conducting behavioural assessments and developing individualized ABA intervention plans.
  • Experience supervising and training Behaviour Therapists.
  • Strong understanding of evidence-based behavioural interventions, skill acquisition, and behaviour reduction procedures.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and clinical documentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred

  • Experience working with children and adolescents across different age groups and developmental profiles.
  • Experience supporting executive functioning, emotional regulation, social communication, and adaptive functioning.
  • Familiarity with Practical Functional Assessment (PFA), Skill-Based Treatment (SBT), Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACT), and other contemporary behaviour-analytic approaches.
  • Experience providing competency-based staff training and clinical supervision.
  • Experience collaborating with schools and other community service providers.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to support clinical team development.

What We Offer

  • A collaborative, supportive multidisciplinary clinical environment.
  • Opportunities to work with diverse age groups and clinical presentations.
  • Access to multidisciplinary consultation and collaborative treatment planning.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and clinical leadership.
  • A strong emphasis on ethical, compassionate, evidence-based practice.
  • Opportunities to contribute to program development and clinical quality improvement.
  • Competitive compensation based on qualifications, clinical experience, and scope of responsibilities.

Ideal Candidate

We are particularly interested in a clinician who:

  • Demonstrates clinical confidence while remaining open to collaboration and feedback.
  • Enjoys being actively involved in sessions rather than providing supervision exclusively through documentation.
  • Takes ownership of their caseload and follows through on clinical priorities.
  • Is comfortable mentoring therapists and providing constructive, practical feedback.
  • Values communication and collaboration across disciplines.
  • Demonstrates initiative, accountability, flexibility, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Is passionate about supporting meaningful, sustainable outcomes for children, youth, and their families.

Interested candidates are invited to submit their resume and a brief cover letter outlining their clinical experience, areas of expertise, and availability.
