Registered Clinical Social Work Intern

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Registered Clinical Social Work Intern to join our dynamic mental health team. As a key member of our team, you will assist in delivering evidence-based mental health interventions, conducting assessments, and supporting clients through individualized treatment plans. This role is ideal for clinical social workers committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of children, adolescents, adults, and seniors.

Duties

• Assist in developing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy and psychodynamic therapy.
• Support individual and group therapy sessions focused on mental health counseling, substance use disorders, PTSD care, autism spectrum disorders, and Alzheimer's care.
• Document clinical encounters accurately following medical documentation standards
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management activities, including patient care coordination, intake procedures, and social work interventions in hospital or community settings.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of psychotherapy techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, motivational interviewing, and behavioral health interventions.
• Experience working with children, adolescents, individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder, and seniors requiring geriatrics or Alzheimer's care.
• Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems for medical records management and clinical documentation
• Excellent client communication skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds..

Pay: $46,000.00 - $54,000.00 per year
