Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) – Advanced Surgical, Sedation & Digital Technology

Our privately owned, progressive dental practice is seeking an experienced, tech-forward Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our clinical team. We provide high-end, patient-centered care utilizing cutting-edge clinical tools—including robotic surgical platforms, advanced digital workflows, in-office 3D printing, and an on-site laboratory.

Primary Responsibilities

• Surgical & Chairside Assisting: Provide proactive, high-level chairside support for complex surgical and restorative procedures, including implant placements and advanced full-arch care.
• Robotics & Guided Surgery Support: Assist with setup, sterile field preparation, optical tracking/registration, and intraoperative flow for robotic-assisted and computer-guided implant surgeries.
• IV Sedation Workflow & Patient Monitoring: Assist during conscious IV sedation appointments, including patient setup, continuous vital signs monitoring (pulse oximetry, BP, capnography/ETCO2), sedation chart documentation, and smooth post-op recovery transitions.
• Digital Workflows & In-House Lab: Operate intraoral scanners (iTero), manage digital scan files, load and process prints on in-office 3D printers, and assist with lab finishing, characterization, and delivery.
• Clinical Operations & Records: Maintain electronic dental records, charting, and treatment notes within Dentrix; manage sterile processing according to strict infection control standards; and assist with clinical inventory management.

Qualifications & Skills

• Licensure: Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in Texas (current BLS/CPR required; Nitrous Oxide certification preferred).
• Clinical Experience: Proven chairside dental assisting experience required, with demonstrated comfort in surgical assisting and sterile technique.
• Sedation Experience & DAANCE: Prior hands-on experience with IV sedation monitoring protocols is strongly preferred. DAANCE (Dental Anesthesia Assistant National Certifying Examination) certification is a major plus.
• Software & Tech Fluency: Proficiency with Dentrix practice management software; high comfort level learning and operating modern clinical hardware, intraoral scanners, 3D printing equipment, and advanced surgical robotics platforms.
• Professional Mindset: Dependable, detail-oriented, and calm under surgical conditions, with excellent communication skills and a team-first attitude.

• Schedule: 4.5-day work week
• Practice Model: Fee-for-Service / Non-network practice (Non-HMO, non-PPO preferred provider) focused on high-quality, uncompromised patient care.
