Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to ensure a safe and efficient workflow
• Assist dentists during various procedures, including exams, restorations, implants and pediatrics
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays) using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology for accurate diagnosis
• Manage patient records using dental practice management software Open Dental ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
• Provide patient education on oral health care, post-treatment instructions, and preventive practices
• Support front desk operations by scheduling appointments and answering patient inquiries
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment while adhering to infection control protocols

Requirements

• Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or equivalent licensure in the relevant jurisdiction. Minimun of 2 years experience required.
• Proven experience with dental assisting procedures. Rubber Dam, Scanning, Dental X-rays, bonding protocols and implants.
• Familiarity with dental software platforms such as Open Dental
• Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry and oral health conditions
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including pediatrics

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 28.0 – 32.0 per week
