Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)/DA

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. You will assist the dentist during procedures, manage patient records, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Duties

• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
• Take and develop dental X-rays, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
• Document patient medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, confirming, and following up on visits.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
• Utilize 3D scanning technology for dental impressions when required.
• Support pediatric patients with a gentle approach to ensure a positive experience.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred . we welcome enthusiastic candidates willing to learn.
• Familiarity with general dentistry practices,
• Experiencer as a dental receptionist is a plus and dentrix knowledge is plus
• Proficiency in medical imaging techniques such as X-rays is desirable.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality is essential.
• should be able to work with Dentrix software.
• experience with i tero is plus.
