Registered Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will provide high-quality preventative dental care, educate patients on oral hygiene, and assist the dental team in delivering exceptional patient experiences. Responsibilities

• Perform professional dental cleaning procedures including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar.
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays) using appropriate imaging techniques.
• Conduct oral health assessments and record findings accurately in patient records.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care measures.
• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Maintain sterilization protocols and ensure all dental instruments are properly disinfected.
• Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up care instructions efficiently.
• Keep up-to-date with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technology, including CAD systems where applicable.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of anatomy relevant to oral health and dental structures.
• Proficiency in medical imaging techniques, including radiography, with a focus on safety standards.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple patient cases effectively.
