Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)O2 Dental Group – Siler City

Schedule:

• Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• We are looking for a RDH: 2- 3 Days a week.

Position Summary

O2 Dental Group is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our growing team in Siler City, NC. We are looking for a hygienist who is passionate about preventive care, enjoys educating patients, and strives to create an exceptional patient experience. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality, comprehensive dental care in a modern, supportive, and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental hygiene assessments and preventive care.
• Provide adult prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, fluoride treatments, and sealants.
• Take digital radiographs in accordance with state regulations.
• Record periodontal charting and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, and preventive care.
• Identify areas of concern and communicate findings to the dentist.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans alongside the doctor.
• Ensure treatment rooms are properly cleaned, stocked, and prepared between patients.
• Follow OSHA, HIPAA, CDC, and infection control guidelines at all times.
• Deliver an exceptional patient experience through professionalism, compassion, and excellent communication.
• Collaborate with doctors, assistants, and administrative team members to ensure efficient patient flow.

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina Registered Dental Hygienist License.
• Current CPR/BLS Certification.
• Certification to administer local anesthesia (preferred or as required by state law).
• Strong knowledge of periodontal therapy and preventive dentistry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to educate patients and build lasting relationships.
• Experience with digital radiography and electronic dental records preferred.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
