Registered Dietitian

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide expert clinical nutrition services, including personalized nutrition counseling and medical nutrition therapy (MNT). This role involves collaborating closely with healthcare professionals to develop and implement nutrition plans that support patient health and recovery. The Registered Dietitian will play a vital role in delivering evidence-based nutritional care tailored to individual patient needs, ensuring optimal health outcomes.

Duties

• Provide comprehensive clinical nutrition assessments for patients across diverse healthcare settings.
• Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans based on medical conditions and nutritional needs.
• Conduct nutrition counseling sessions to educate and motivate patients towards healthier lifestyle choices.
• Apply expertise in medical nutrition therapy (MNT) to manage specific health conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, or gastrointestinal disorders.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting nutrition interventions as necessary.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes in compliance with healthcare standards.
• Stay current with the latest research and advancements in clinical nutrition and dietetics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Valid registration or licensure as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN).
• Proven experience in clinical nutrition and medical nutrition therapy (MNT).
• Strong knowledge of nutrition science, dietary guidelines, and evidence-based practices.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and motivate patients effectively.
• Ability to collaborate seamlessly within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple patient cases efficiently.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards in dietetics practice.

Pay: $50.00 - $50.01 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 36.0 per week
