As a Registered Dietitian with Brookside Commons, you will play a vital role in supporting the health and wellbeing of our patients by providing expert nutrition guidance and care.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement personalized nutrition plans for patients with various medical conditions, including diabetes, heart disease, and obesity
• Conduct nutrition assessments and counseling sessions with patients and their families
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement evidence-based nutrition therapy plans
• Develop and maintain accurate and complete patient records, including nutrition plans, assessments, and progress notes
• Stay current with the latest research and guidelines in nutrition and dietetics to ensure optimal patient care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to optimize patient outcomes and hospital processes

Requirements:

• Must be a registered dietitian with a degree from an accredited program in dietetics or a related field
• Must have a current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
• Must have a strong understanding of nutrition and dietetics principles and practices
• Must be able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
