Join Mindshift Nutrition and Wellness, a growing private practice dedicated to helping patients reinvent their health and their relationship with food.

We are seeking another compassionate, motivated Registered Dietitian with a strong foundation in medical nutrition therapy (MNT) and experience or a strong interest in bariatric nutrition, including pre- and post-surgical care. Candidates should be comfortable counseling patients with a variety of conditions, including diabetes, chronic kidney disease, and heart disease.

We are hiring now, with a start date following completion of insurance credentialing. Join us as we prepare for a busy 2027!

About the Role

Provide individualized, evidence-based nutrition counseling for patients navigating bariatric surgery, metabolic health concerns, and chronic disease management. This position offers scheduling flexibility, administrative support, and opportunities for professional growth.

Fully virtual work is an option; availability for one in-person day per week in our Las Vegas office is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and individualized counseling through virtual and in-person appointments.
• Provide pre- and post-bariatric nutrition education, meal planning, and ongoing support.
• Develop personalized nutrition care plans for a varied outpatient caseload.
• Support sustainable behavior change through motivational interviewing and practical strategies.
• Collaborate with referring providers and other members of patients’ care teams.
• Complete accurate, timely documentation and provide appropriate follow-up care.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Dietitian credential (RD/RDN) and active Nevada dietitian license.
• Active, up-to-date CAQH profile.
• Minimum of two years of outpatient clinical experience.
• Strong clinical knowledge and confidence providing MNT for a variety of conditions.
• Experience or a strong interest in bariatric and weight management nutrition.
• Strong communication, organizational, and motivational interviewing skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
• Compassionate, reliable, and professional approach to patient care.
