Registered Electrical Engineer

• Supernova Innovation Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team and provide expert support for the installation, maintenance, and repair of Electric Vehicle (EV) charging systems. As an Electrical Engineer for EV Charger Installation, Maintenance, and Repair, you will be responsible for ensuring that our EV charging systems are installed correctly, running smoothly, and maintained to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair EV charging systems in accordance with industry standards and regulations
• Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure the ongoing reliability and safety of EV charging systems
• Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues related to EV charging systems
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including installation manuals, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting guides
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and customer service, to ensure a positive customer experience
• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in EV charging technology, and make recommendations for improvements to our systems and processes
• Provide technical support to customers, including remote assistance and on-site visits when necessary
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 2-3 years of experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, relevant experience in the EV Industry is a plus
• With a Safety Officer II (SO2) (BOSH/COSH) Certification is a plus
• In-depth knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices
• With expertise in using AutoCAD, SketchUp
• Preferably with a Motorcycle for their transportation
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards for EV charging systems
• Ability to travel to customer sites as needed
