The work

You’ll get a mix of residential new builds, fit-outs, maintenance, fault finding, switchboard upgrades, testing and compliance work. Depending on your experience and interests, you may also work on solar and EV charging installations.

You’ll need current EWRB registration and a practising licence, a Site Safety Card, a full NZ driver licence, and NZ residency or a valid work visa. You’ll also be comfortable reading plans, finding faults, following NZ electrical requirements and using apps to manage your work.
