With a strong pipeline of large-scale commercial and industrial projects, we are seeking qualified New Zealand electricians ready to relocate and build a long-term career in Australia.

About the Role

Depending on your experience, you will be involved in:

• Commercial and industrial electrical installations
• MSB upgrades, MSSB installations, cable pulls and terminations
• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications
• Testing, fault-finding and commissioning
• Coordinating site activities and allocating work
• Leading and mentoring electricians and apprentices
• Liaising with builders, clients and Project Managers
• Ensuring work is completed safely and to Australian standards

About You

We are seeking electricians with:

• A recognised New Zealand electrical trade qualification
• Registration in the Electrician class with the New Zealand Electrical Workers Registration Board
• A current NZ EWRB Practising Licence
• Commercial and/or industrial electrical experience
• Strong technical, fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• The ability to interpret electrical drawings
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to safety
• A current driver’s licence
• Leadership experience for senior opportunities
• EWP, high-risk and construction safety tickets, or a willingness to obtain them

Successful candidates must be eligible to live and work in Australia and obtain the appropriate state licence:

• Victoria: Victorian Electrician’s Licence, commonly known as an A Grade licence
• Queensland: Queensland Electrical Mechanic Licence

Guidance will be provided throughout the mutual recognition and licensing process.
