Duties

• Assess patients’ physical conditions using comprehensive evaluations to develop tailored rehabilitation programs
• Implement therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques to enhance mobility and reduce pain
• Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists to coordinate care
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMRs) documenting assessments, treatments, and progress notes
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, self-care strategies, and home exercise programs
• Administer medications when required under medical directives and ensure compliance with safety protocols
• Manage case documentation efficiently using Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Provide exceptional patient care with a focus on customer service, empathy, and clear communication
• Support hospital operations by adhering to organizational policies, time management standards, and safety regulations

Experience

• Valid registration as a Kinesiologist with the appropriate provincial or national regulatory body
• Proven experience working in hospital or acute care environments demonstrating familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
• Prior experience in pediatrics or specialized populations is highly desirable
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French is preferred to serve diverse patient communities effectively
• Strong computer skills including proficiency with electronic medical records systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining high-quality patient care
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams and patients alike
• Experience in medication administration within a clinical setting is an asset
• Knowledge of analysis skills for assessing treatment effectiveness and adjusting interventions accordingly

Pay: $30.00-$55.20 per hour
