With an established presence across North East Essex and Ipswich, Suffolk, this is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in developing a high-quality, person-centred service that empowers people to live independent and fulfilling lives.

About the Role

As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the leadership, development, and operational management of our Supported Living service in Norfolk. You will ensure the service delivers outstanding support, meets all regulatory requirements, and promotes a culture of excellence, inclusion, and continuous improvement.

Working closely with the Head of Care, commissioners, families, and health professionals, you will lead a dedicated team focused on achieving positive outcomes for the people we support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performing Supported Living service in line with CQC regulations and best practice.
  • Ensure person-centred support plans are developed, reviewed, and delivered effectively.
  • Promote independence, choice, dignity, equality, and positive risk-taking for all individuals supported.
  • Manage, coach, and develop managers, team leaders, and support staff.
  • Oversee staffing, recruitment, training, supervision, payroll, rotas, and workforce planning.
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding, medication management, health and safety, and quality assurance.
  • Monitor service performance through audits, spot checks, observations, and governance processes.
  • Build positive relationships with service users, families, local authorities, commissioners, and healthcare professionals.
  • Lead investigations, manage complaints, and ensure lessons learned are embedded into practice.
  • Drive occupancy growth through relationship building, marketing, and responsive assessment processes.
  • Act as the Registered Manager with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and maintain full compliance with all regulatory requirements.

About You

  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager, Service Manager, or Senior Manager within Supported Living, Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health, or Adult Social Care services.
  • Previous experience in building a new service (desirable but not essential).
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding legislation and adult social care governance.
  • Leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.
  • A commitment to develop person-centred care
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

What we Offer

  • A competitive salary.
  • Long service and birthday awards.
  • Refer a friend scheme.
  • Career progression within a growing company.
  • Ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
