Registered Manager

Reable Health Ltd is looking for an experienced and motivated Registered Manager to lead our domiciliary and live-in care services across Oxfordshire.

You will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring that we continue to provide safe, effective and person-centred care while maintaining high standards of CQC compliance.

We are looking for a confident leader who understands the demands of managing a busy homecare service and can support, develop and motivate a growing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day running of the care service.
• Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and relevant legislation.
• Lead, support and manage care and office staff.
• Oversee care plans, risk assessments, reviews and service-user documentation.
• Monitor quality through audits, spot checks and regular service reviews.
• Manage safeguarding concerns, complaints, incidents and investigations.
• Oversee recruitment, induction, training, supervision and staff performance.
• Maintain high standards of medication management and care delivery.
• Build positive relationships with service users, families, commissioners and healthcare professionals.
• Ensure appropriate staffing and effective service delivery across all care packages.
• Drive continuous improvement and maintain a positive, professional and person-centred culture.
• Ensure the service remains CQC inspection-ready at all times.

Qualifications

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care – essential.
• Previous management experience within domiciliary/home care – essential.
• Strong working knowledge of CQC regulations and the Fundamental Standards.
• Strong working knowledge of UKVI regulations.
• Good understanding of safeguarding, medication management, risk assessment and quality assurance.
• Experience of leading, supervising and developing care teams.
• Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and confidently deal with challenging situations.
• Good IT and record-keeping skills.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle – essential.

The successful candidate should have previous management experience within domiciliary care and a strong understanding of CQC requirements. A Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management for Adult Care, is essential.

Pay: £35,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
