Registered Manager

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Registered Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of a comprehensive care facility. This vital role involves ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient-centered care across various settings, including assisted living, dementia care, hospice, and home care environments. As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, managing staff teams, and fostering a compassionate and safe environment for residents and clients. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement, uphold high-quality service standards, and promote a positive organizational culture that values dignity, respect, and independence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall management of the care facility, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
• Supervise and support multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, caregivers, therapists, and administrative staff, fostering teamwork and professional development.
• Develop, implement, and review policies and procedures aligned with regulatory requirements such as assisted living regulations, dementia care protocols, and hospice standards.
• Oversee case management activities to ensure personalized care plans are effectively executed for each resident or client.
• Ensure medication administration protocols are strictly followed by trained staff to guarantee safe medication management.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations by conducting regular audits, risk assessments, and staff training sessions.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing quality metrics, resident feedback, and incident reports to implement corrective actions promptly.
• Manage budgets, resource allocation, and staffing schedules to optimize operational efficiency while controlling costs.
• Foster strong relationships with residents’ families, healthcare providers, regulatory agencies, and community partners to enhance service delivery.

Experience

• Proven experience working within assisted living facilities or senior care environments with a strong understanding of dementia care and Alzheimer's support strategies.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing multidisciplinary teams in healthcare or social care settings with supervising experience.
• Extensive knowledge of patient care practices including medication administration, anatomy fundamentals, laboratory procedures, medical imaging processes, and ICU protocols.
• Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities is highly desirable to support diverse resident needs.
• Familiarity with case management principles in home care or nursing home settings is essential for coordinating personalized services effectively.
• Strong background in managing compliance related to assisted living regulations, hospice standards, or senior care accreditation processes.
• Knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and medical imaging techniques that support clinical decision-making is advantageous.
