Park View Care Home with Nursing is seeking an experienced and values-led Registered Home Manager to lead our welcoming 44-bedroom home on Blackpool’s South Shore. Recently refurbished, Park View provides nursing, residential, dementia, respite and end-of-life care in a warm, homely environment.

The role

As Registered Home Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day leadership of the home, working with colleagues, residents, families and external professionals to deliver safe, effective and person-centred care.

Key responsibilities

· Lead, motivate and develop a skilled, compassionate team.

· Maintain high standards of nursing and personal care, dignity and resident wellbeing.

· Ensure compliance with CQC requirements, safeguarding, health and safety, medicines management and other relevant legislation.

· Drive continuous improvement through audits, action plans, quality assurance and resident feedback.

· Manage staffing, occupancy, budgets and resources effectively.

· Build positive relationships with residents, relatives, commissioners, healthcare professionals and the local community.

· Create an open, inclusive culture where colleagues feel supported, recognised and accountable.

About you

You will be an approachable, resilient and commercially aware leader who can balance excellent care with strong operational management.

Essential

· Proven management experience in a regulated adult social care service, ideally a nursing home.

· Ability to meet CQC requirements for registration as manager.

· Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care, an equivalent qualification, or a commitment to complete it.

· Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, person-centred care and quality governance.

· A successful record of leading teams, improving services and managing performance.

· Excellent communication, organisational and decision-making skills.

· Eligibility for an enhanced DBS check and the right to work in the UK.

Desirable

· Registered Nurse qualification with a current NMC registration.

· Experience of nursing, dementia, mental health or end-of-life care.

· Experience supporting a service through CQC inspection and delivering improvement plans.

Pay: £60,000.00 per year
