Responsibilities

• Provide individualized massage therapy treatments based on each patient’s needs, condition, and treatment goals.
• Assess patients, review relevant medical and health history, and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic massage for musculoskeletal injuries, chronic pain, mobility concerns, sports injuries, stress management, and general wellness.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical notes and patient records.
• Educate patients regarding stretches, exercises, posture, ergonomics, and other appropriate home-care recommendations.
• Clearly communicate treatment plans, expected outcomes, and aftercare recommendations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, comfortable, and professional treatment environment.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when appropriate to provide coordinated patient care.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow all applicable professional, regulatory, privacy, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Registered and in good standing as a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) in British Columbia, or eligible for registration.
• Professional liability insurance as required by the regulatory college.
• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, dependable, and patient-focused.
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a multidisciplinary team.
• Previous experience in a physiotherapy, rehabilitation, or multidisciplinary clinic is an asset but not required.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.
