Duties

• Provide personalized massage therapy sessions tailored to each client’s needs, utilizing various techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, or sports massage.
• Assess clients’ health histories and discuss their wellness goals to develop effective treatment plans.
• Maintain detailed and accurate treatment records in compliance with professional standards and regulations.
• Educate clients on self-care practices and post-treatment recommendations to enhance ongoing wellness.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by adhering to hygiene protocols and equipment sterilization procedures.
• Communicate clearly with clients about treatment processes, benefits, and any contraindications or concerns they may have.
• Collaborate with other health professionals when necessary to support comprehensive client care.

Requirements

• Valid registration and licensing as a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) with the appropriate regulatory body.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to musculoskeletal health and wellness.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Proven customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor that fosters client trust and satisfaction.
• Ability to assess client needs accurately and adapt techniques accordingly for optimal results.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry best practices.
• Prior experience in a clinical or spa setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided if necessary.

Pay: $68,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
