Registered Migration Agent

About the role

As a Registered Migration Agent with MYAC, you will work across a varied caseload, with a particular focus on employer-sponsored and skilled migration matters. You will handle genuine, commercially relevant migration matters while being supported by an established recruitment, administration and client services team.

Key responsibilities

• Conducting migration consultations and providing professional immigration advice
• Assessing clients' eligibility and recommending appropriate visa strategies
• Managing Subclass 482, 186, 494 and 407 matters
• Preparing and reviewing Standard Business Sponsorship, nomination and visa applications
• Advising employers regarding sponsorship requirements and migration pathways
• Managing skilled migration matters, including Subclass 189, 190 and 491 pathways
• Reviewing candidate qualifications, employment history and migration eligibility
• Preparing detailed submissions and supporting documentation
• Liaising with employers, candidates, the Department of Home Affairs and other relevant organisations
• Maintaining accurate client files, records and case notes

About you

• Current registration as an OMARA Registered Migration Agent
• Practical Australian migration-law experience
• Strong knowledge of employer-sponsored migration
• Experience preparing and lodging visa and nomination applications
• Confidence conducting client consultations and providing clear migration advice
• Strong written communication and submission-drafting skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good judgement when assessing eligibility and identifying potential issues
• The ability to manage matters independently while also working as part of a broader team
• Strong organisational and file-management skills
