- Ensuring appropriate care plans and risk assessments are implemented, reviewed and updated in response to changing needs.
- Maintaining a safe, clean, secure and well-maintained environment and ensuring health and safety requirements are consistently met.
- Providing effective clinical leadership, direction and support to care staff throughout the day shift.
- Responding appropriately to incidents, accidents, complaints and safeguarding concerns, ensuring these are recorded, reported and escalated in accordance with Trust procedures.
- Contributing to quality assurance, continuous improvement and good governance, helping to ensure that care remains safe, effective, responsive and well-led.
- Promoting a positive culture of openness, learning, professional accountability and continuous improvement.
- Acting as a positive role model for colleagues and promoting high standards of professional conduct and care delivery.
