Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in various settings. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

Duties

• Assist patients as needed for dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
• Provide basic medical care including medication administration
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
• Document patient care activities accurately in EMR/EHR systems while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Engage with patients in meaningful ways to promote emotional well-being and provide companionship.
• Assist in the transportation of patients within the facility or to appointments as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred; critical care experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices.
• Experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, or individuals with disabilities.
• Knowledge of patient care techniques such as phlebotomy, vital signs monitoring, and basic life support.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments such as Level I or II trauma centers or emergency medicine settings.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient service and caregiving.

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
