Browns Bay Medical Centre is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our busy general practice team.

Starting in October 2026, this is a full-time, 6-month fixed-term position covering maternity leave, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. For the right person, we're happy to negotiate days and there may also be potential for a longer-term opportunity within the practice.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and capable nurse who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to be part of a large, happy and supportive healthcare team.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

• An experienced Registered Nurse with a current New Zealand practising certificate
• A current authorised/certified vaccinator
• Keen, enthusiastic and willing to get involved
• Confident working in a busy, fast-paced general practice environment
• Friendly, professional and patient-focused
• Organised and able to manage competing priorities
• A strong team player with a positive and proactive approach

Previous experience working within general practice or primary healthcare would be highly regarded.

You'll be joining a large, friendly and collaborative practice where our clinical and administration teams work closely together to provide an excellent standard of care to our patients.
