Registered Nurse

A to Z Adult Family Home is looking for a highly experienced, dependable, and knowledgeable Nurse to provide ongoing support and oversight for our Adult Family Home in the Sheboygan area.

We are looking for someone who understands Adult Family Home regulations, DHS/state requirements, documentation, resident care, and regulatory compliance and can help ensure our home remains fully prepared and compliant.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH:

5+ years of nursing experience – REQUIRED Experience working with Adult Family Homes, group homes, community-based residential settings, or similar residential care settings strongly preferred.

Strong knowledge of Wisconsin DHS/state regulations and compliance requirements.

Experience reviewing and maintaining resident paperwork, care documentation, MARs, assessments, care plans, and records.

Ability to identify compliance issues and help correct them before they become problems.

Knowledge of medication management, incident reporting, resident rights, staff training, and documentation requirements.

Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Ability to travel to the Sheboygan area as needed.

Professional, reliable, and comfortable working independently.

RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:

Reviewing resident files and ensuring required documentation is complete

Updating resident files, records, forms, and paperwork as needed

Ensuring all required paperwork stays current and organized

Assisting with compliance and regulatory readiness

Reviewing medication documentation/MARs

Helping ensure policies and procedures are being followed

Reviewing staff documentation and identifying areas needing improvement

Assisting with care plans, assessments, and required nursing documentation

Helping prepare the home for state surveys/inspections

Providing guidance to management regarding regulatory requirements

Conducting periodic visits and providing ongoing clinical oversight
