Registered Nurse

Seeking experienced RN to work both in our CHF clinic with an APN managing complex heart failure patients and working as a traditional RN doing incision checks, BP checks, pre-procedure education, INR clinic and making patient phone calls.

Position based in Eatontown NJ with travel coverage to Freehold NJ as needed.

CHF responsibilities include: patient visits with the CHF APN, including evaluation of symptoms, recent hospitalizations, updating medication list, taking vital signs, and placing IV and administering IV Lasix as needed. In addition: taking patient phone calls and triaging needs for medication changes, office visits and referral to the hospital with assistance from the APN.

Our nurses work with our providers to help care for our complex cardiac patients and provide strong evidence based decision making and excellent customer service. The CHF RN will do the following when not supporting CHF.

Pre Admission Coordination: Educating patients pre-procedure on the process of pre- admission testing and medications to hold prior to procedure. Pre-admission results are then screened by the nursing team for abnormalities prior to procedure.

INR Clinic- management of INR and Coumadin dosing

RN visits- for incision checks post PPM/ICD and Blood pressure checks.

Patient Phone calls- triaging various calls from patients and working with providers to answer complex questions.

Electrophysiology- Assist physician in office with loop recorder implants
