Registered Nurse

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care, performing assessments, administering treatments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal health outcomes. Candidates with expertise in EMR/EHR systems such as Kinnser.net, mobilecaregiver, and hhaexchange are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history documentation using EMR/EHR systems.
• Administer medications and injections.
• Perform specialized procedures such as IV infusion, catheterization (urinary and vascular), suturing, tube feeding, ostomy care, and wound management.
• Manage airway support including ventilator care and airway management techniques.
• Assist with diagnostic evaluations such as laboratory testing, specimen collection/processing, sonography, mammography, and medical imaging procedures.
• Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to prevent healthcare-associated infections.
• Educate patients and families on health coaching topics including nutrition, medication administration, and disease management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Valid RN license with current registration to practice in the state of Florida.
• Proven experience working in home health care.
• Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as kinnser, mobilecaregiver, and hhaexchange.
• Demonstrated competence in performing advanced procedures including IV insertion/infusion, phlebotomy/venipuncture, sterile processing techniques, and specimen collection/processing.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy & physiology principles, diagnostic evaluation methods, and medication administration protocols.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations including pediatrics, adults requiring chronic disease management or acute care interventions such as trauma or infectious disease care.
• Must pass a comprehensive background check. Level II FBI.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams while maintaining patient confidentiality per HIPAA regulations.
• CEU HIV, HIPAA, Medical Errors, OSHA, Alzheimer's, Domestic Violence.
• Work physical w/ TB test. (PPD or QuantiFERON-TB Gold Plus)
• Valid social security card

Pay: $38.00 - $80.00 per hour
