Registered Nurse

Registered Nurse duties and responsibilities

Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests

Collect patient health history

Counsel and educate patients and their families on treatment plans

Administer medication, change wound dressings, and care for other treatment options

Read and interpret patient information, making treatment decisions when appropriate

Consult supervisors and doctors to decide on the best treatment plan for patients

Direct and supervise nurses, nurse assistants, and nurse aides

Research ways to improve healthcare processes and improve patient outcomes

Perform physical assessments and health histories for the (insert specialty patient) (e.g., critical care, home health, or pediatric)

Develop a plan of care aligned with the nursing process

Perform clinical and patient care procedures such as collecting lab samples/specimens and wound care

Promote health/wellness and provide patient/caregiver/family education

Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team

Providing medication teaching and discharge instructions

Documenting patient charts and electronic health records

Adhering to nursing regulations at the local, state, and federal levels

Demonstrate professionalism by adhering to the standard code of conduct & performance standards

Keeping track of nursing inventory & supplies

Communicate with administration promptly.

Any other clinical or administrative roles within the scope of nursing practice that the Employer may assign.

Pay: ₦450.00 - ₦600.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Benin City: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
