Better Horizons is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team serving the East Valley communities, including Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, and Queen Creek. Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history documentation using EMR/EHR systems.
• Administer medications and injections accurately following aseptic technique and hospital protocols.
• Review patient medical records and recommend appropriate care environment prior to any intake.
• Work with team of behavioral health technicians to establish and reconcile medication administration records monthly.
• Act of Chief Medical Officer for the organization. Guide leadership on medical decision and educate staff on medication error reporting and avoidance.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure meticulous medical documentation for all patient interactions.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license with current registration in the state of Arizona.
• Proven experience working in diverse healthcare environments such as hospital medicine or long-term care facilities.
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, or Practice Fusion is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding, and laboratory procedures.
• Experience providing specialized nursing services including behavioral health is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care and teamwork.

Pay: $34.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 20.0 per week
